Garnishment of Social Security Disability Benefits

Here is a link to an explanation as to why attachment of Social Security benefits is allowed when the past-due debt derives from child support obligations. Many SSD claimants will face this situation, either as the parent who owes past-due child support or the parent who is trying to collect the past-due child support.
